They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Leader - Software Developer to spearhead this transition, establish a local development team, and drive technical excellence.

Role Overview

As the Team Leader - Software Developer, you will play a pivotal role in building, leading, and mentoring a high-performing software development team in Colombia. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Building: Recruit, onboard, and mentor a team of software developers to support the client’s operations in Colombia.
  • Leadership: Provide technical direction, establish best practices, and create a cohesive team environment that promotes growth and collaboration.
  • Project Oversight: Manage the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with U.S.-based stakeholders to align development efforts with business objectives.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.
  • Problem-Solving: Address technical challenges and provide strategic solutions to meet evolving business needs.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in [insert relevant programming languages/technologies here based on client needs, e.g., Java, Python, cloud services, etc.].
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to build and lead a successful software development team.
