Role and Responsibilities
As our Administrative Assistant / Paralegal, you’ll handle a range of legal and administrative functions that keep cases on track and attorneys well-supported. You’ll draft, edit, and manage documents, coordinate filings and compliance, and provide clear bilingual communications working independently but closely connected to legal partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting and proofreading contracts, powers of attorney, trust deeds, purchase/sale agreements, and public deeds.
- Managing and organizing legal files with a strong focus on confidentiality.
- Supporting case status tracking, notarial practices, and document deadlines.
- Conducting basic legal research and summarizing findings for attorney review.
- Preparing professional correspondence in both English and Spanish.
Who You Are
You’re a detail-driven legal support professional who brings structure and clarity to every task. You have at least 2 years of experience supporting legal teams, especially with documentation and notarial processes.
- Degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a relevant degree.
- Fluent and C1-level English, especially in legal contexts
- Proficient in drafting/editing bilingual legal documents
- Skilled with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and file management systems
- Bonus points if you have experience in legal processes (public deeds, POAs, contracts)
