About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Help Desk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in technical support and troubleshooting, along with excellent communication skills in English (C1+ level is mandatory). This role involves assisting users with IT-related issues, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and providing high-quality support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, chat, or Zoom.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and update software and applications.
- Assist with user account management, including password resets and access requests.
- Document issues, solutions, and best practices in the ticketing system.
- Escalate complex technical problems to higher support tiers when necessary.
- Ensure timely resolution of technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain IT inventory and assist with equipment setup and maintenance.
- Educate users on best practices for IT security and software usage.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an IT help desk or technical support role.
- C1+ level in English (both written and spoken).
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote desktop tools.
- Basic understanding of Active Directory, Office 365, and VPN solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate technical information effectively.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
- Experience supporting cloud-based applications and services.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
